"The Man"(Dorsey Baker) It was springtime, a romantic feeling was in the air! She was single, she had no children, and no pets. She wasn't looking for a husband; just a companion! She wanted someone that would be there who she could confide in; a kind of trust-worthy companion. A companion she could go out to dinner with. A companion she could walk around with, and be proud of. Her imagination began to stir: Just the two of them, taking a romantic stroll-their arms around each other tightly. Caught suddenly in a spring shower, out in the open, they would get a good soaking! She needed a companion-someone to laugh and share a joke with! Curled up on the couch watching her favorite show-She was a very independent woman. She needed "a man" that was "a man" in every sense of the word! One day, while she was shopping in the store, she met "a man" that was "a man" in every sense of the word! He told her his name was "Steve". She told him her name was "Jill". She liked the way he looked! She very much liked the way he talked! She didn't realize that this would be "the man" she would fall in love with! She didn't realize that after a few months of dating "the man", that "the man" would be "the man" that she would marry!
