Watching Them

Watching Them(Dorsey Baker) The bull and the bull-rider, they were in it together. They both were in the stall-waiting for the gate to open! The bull with its massive body and its big round agitated eyes. The bull was restless and angry. The rider was small in size; like a midget trying to steer a mighty ship! This was not the bulls' first time out. This was not the riders' first time out. For them; the first time out had been a long time ago! No one knew what the rider was thinking; no one knew what the bull was feeling. Everybody would be cheering the rider! None would be cheering the bull. The bull was trying to turn round and round in the stall-but there just wasn't enough room. In the tight space he could barely move! Soon the gate would open! The contest would begin! and everybody would be watching. The bull and the rider; they knew that everybody would be watching them. Everybody would be watching them!
