Fear Is Only Death

"Nothing to fear! Nothing to fear!" That's what the voice said. "Fear is only a state of mind. And courage is a way of being," the voice said. The voice was a strong and commanding voice! Alex was walking up the stairs. He was walking slowing and watching above and below the stairs. He was afraid and he didn't pretend that he wasn't. He wanted to walk back down the stairs and walk out the door. But he didn't! He continued to walk up! There was a door at the top of the stairs. A door that would reveal the mystery of the death. It was a death he needed to know the mystery of - As he climbed the stairs; he could sense that death was following him! He didn't see it or hear it; but he knew that it was following him! He felt it! When he reached the top of the stairs, he opened the door. There he saw fear and courage; they were shaking hands!
