We friends were having a discussion about if friendship exists between male and female. One of them said, if one among is weak, they are going to have an affair not friendship. Then Rohit started telling about his friend:
I am a male. I have a female friend who is unmarried. She talks to me, sends sms, shares her problems and listens to my problems. She responds to my messages even when I send her a message around 12.00pm in the night. Ours was a pure friendship. We had nothing else in our hearts. This was all when we were in college.

After college, incidentally we happened to go into the same profession, but in different places, then I got married. I sent an invitation to her. She was very very happy. I was blessed with daughter. I celebrated it with my friend. She came all over to that place. After my marriage, her phone calls became limited. There were no messages. I became annoyed and sent a message to her to call me. As usual she returned my call. I once messaged her at 12.00pm, and she responded. I asked her "are you sleeping?", she sent no.....so we chatted on mobile till two o clock. Then I started thinking about her, wondering why she is still unmarried. I started to get vivid wild ideas.

Next day i sent sms again at 11.00pm in the night. She responded. I sent msg, "can I ask a personal question?" She said 'S'. I asked, "what is your opinion about sex?" She sent me, "Good Night." I was worried and could not sleep nor send her message. I thought our friendship was over. Next day I sent her a sorry msg. She sent me, "dont feel sorry, u will always remain as my immature friend."

Again I sent Sorry. She said "it's ok".
Our friendship continued as usual, but now i stopped sending msg in the night.

Afer many years, she called me for help in her profession. As a friend i solved her problem and again there were calls. Again I started to send msg.
She too responded. I asked, "what is the relation we have that you respond in the night, is something going on inbetween us?" She responded "U r my friend and as my friend, it's my duty to respond to my friend whenever he is in need of me. My friendship has no limitations. Friendship is between us."

I had no reply, but thank my God to give me such a mature friend in spite of my repeated acts. From then I never msg nor called at odd hours. I understood the greatness of my friend. Though my thoughts became impure in the middle of the night, her purity has washed out my impure thoughts.
Thank you my friend. Thank you for spreading your purity, for protecting our friendship by not making it impure due to my immature and polluted mind.

After saying this he said, "I never realized I was so fortunate to have a unmarried female friend without any affair, but just unconditional pure friendship............Friendship does not demand anything. It's unconditional support which comes to you every time, any time u require it without any expiry."

If you are fortunate .....don't repeat the mistakes I made and lose your valuable friend.
