The smell was raw and burned my nostrils as I slowly walked down the eerie hallway, to the cracked open wooden door on the other side of where I was standing. Everything was dark and quiet. The only sound that was heard was the sound of running water coming from the masters bathroom.
I pushed the door open fully, my eyes caught by the figure of a man cleaning a bloody kinfe under the faucet of my mother's sink. The man's dark hair was pulled into a ponytail, his eyes bloodshot in the shattered mirror. He didn't seem to notice me, but he looked awfully familiar. The smell I'd smelt from before was stronger now.
The smirking man turned, looking right past me before walking stiffly out the door. A trail of mud and blood covered the floor, leading towards the bathtub. My hand reached out towards the curtain as I pushed it aside, my eyes landing on the body of a girl.
A girl that I knew very well.
A girl that was me.
I was dead? I was dead...
I turned toward the mirror, but saw no reflection. I opened my mouth to scream, but nothing came out.
And then I vanished...
