Love's Labour's Lost I
Born 1996, F, from Reading, United KingdomShe was beautiful and Nathan looked at her in adoration. This had been such a good idea, a wedding on Halloween. The light shone down on Helen’s hair, it was ice white, and it shone in the dark evening light. Perfection was not the word. She was wearing a black wedding dress and a red tiara which was striking against her smoky eyes. She was walking towards him to the pace of the slow eerie music. He was blissfully happy. He fell more in love every time their eyes locked. She was finally there in front of him.
They took their vows never letting their gaze falter. “I, Nathan Sinclaire, take you, Helen Dolan, to be my wedded wife. With deepest joy I receive you into my life that together we may be one. Not even death will part us.” He promised an eternity together without faltering. He wanted to spend his life with her. She was…his angel, his saving grace, his only love.
He never even noticed the guests watching, clapping cheering and crying. This moment was private to him, just him and Helen. Nothing else mattered, she had promised to be with him forever. They were going to be together forever.
The carriage was magnificent. It was painted white with black and purple ribbons snaked around the bars and adorned with black roses. Adam watched as she stepped into the carriage. She was an angel. She laid her head on his shoulder and a warm surge of love and hope for a bright future washed over them both.
The black horses pulled the carriage up to a cross roads near narrow bridge and the carriage pulled on slowly. They could hear a car coming closer, faster and suddenly there was a deafening crash then silence.
They have been seen since. By the bridge. Still together.
Not even death did part them.
