Cold Coat/Green Giant

Cold Coat

It was cold. Too cold. I felt the crisp chill against me as soon as I was out the door. As I moved through the snow, following the footprints of the suspects, I pondered their dastardly actions. Killing and eating a living creature. Counts of breaking beautiful objects while assembling a cover for their hoarde. Even coercing innocent children to participate in ghastly religious rituals before allowing them to do anything fun. They were truly the worst of the worst. Every year, on the same day, they would repeat these crimes, shaming my efforts to stop them.

As I neared the lair of these beasts, the battering of the elements lessened. I stealthily entered through the front door, and readied myself to spring on the first one I encountered. I felt someone grab me from behind, and tusseled briefly with my unknown assailant. He proved too strong, and I soon found myself restrained on a hook set into the wall. Oh well, I will soon escape from this prison, after all, I am the greatest trenchcoat that ever lived.

"Yaknow Rachel, you really should get a different trenchcoat. That one always gets tangled up every time you try to hang it!"

"Quiet you fool, do not insult my awesome black trenchcoat!"

"Fine fine, just don't grab the hair, not the hair!"

"Are you two fighting? Don't make me come over and give you a pinch."

"We're not fighting gramma!", the siblings responded in unison as they walked into the dining room to have their first meal together in months.

Christmas was coming, along with turkey, presents, and making the cousins wait in agony to open their presents as we did not too many years ago.

Here's hoping we have a lot of fun, and don't get too sick from all the treats.

Greeen Giant

Darkness surrounded the brethren as we waited in our compartments to spring forth in bursts of colour once more. Each of us were different, unique in our coloration, design, and even physical make-up, but we shared a common purpose. To bring down the great green giant. Our attack plan was to have the brethren under my command first tie down the giant's limbs, while the two sparkle snakes constricted around the giant, trapping him in their coils. Next, the smaller silver serpents would drop down from above to support the brethren in our efforts to weigh down the limbs. As the giant creaked and swayed under our weight, we called in the light division reinforcements for the last push. The light centipede assisted with the snakes constrictive effort, and to top it all off, our great heroe and star of hope lept atop of the green giant's head. He began to sway and topple. Almost there men, hold the line! But what's this? The heavy infantry have betrayed us, their propping the giant up! Blast them!

Hanna sighed as she put the last present under the tree. Finally the preparations for christmas were done.
