autism angel

Autism angel

he came running in my arms in tears on his face
tells me someone tempted to tumble his faith
that ill boy
livin in this big world
never knew what he meant to me
never knew what he really did
he'd pray for the helpless the poor and the weak
but every time he cried he'd say
look at me i can't seem to see
everything that the world brings me
try to close your eyes and walk
try to close your mouth and speak
or to let go and let your heart speak
because it's hard for me and it would be hard for you
but it's called
ups and downs
thins and thicks
old and young
we take baby steps
we look at the world as our home
but know it's our mission trip
this little boy could touch anybody's heart
he'd walk in the church and smile cheek to cheek
ask everyone how u been
and shake you hand and say
take that heart and let it out this is just a test
i tell you now you'd be touched
how many people need someone
i once was lost but i was found
and i was once like them
i cried
i yelled
i fell
i tripped
i didn't let my heart speak
i let him take my heart and take my brain
it to work in his molding hand
he made me different and this i know
cuz look at me i know how
to talk with my heart
and dance with my soul
i'm not afraid to serve my lord
i tell him my secrets
and he answers my prayers
and you think i'm the one who needs the prayers he says
look at the way you use your ways
look at the way you deceive my father
look at your sins that take over
my love
my love for you rise
those little blues lit up my day
he'd run to me saying his prayers
every day he'd look so happy to say
i prayed for the man on the street
i prayed for the baby so weak
i prayed for mother who can't speak to her child
and i told god i'm happy being me cuz
day after day
night after night i think of meeting the great holy might
one day i'll step on to his temple
i'll walk in the doors of that big mason and he'll say
my son look at what you've done
you went on so strong
and you helped the weak ones
you didn't let those tears bring you down
you didn't take petty when some brought you down no you didn't
you had faith
you had hope
you had love
you had praise
you kept me close to your heart
now my son you're home and imma hold you tight
because you serve on my world
you saved my people
you're just with a millon dreams and they all came true
within in you
because u were always
just a little angel
sent to be you
sent to be different then those
you never gave up you kept faith
now my angels back in
his place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
