Lost Friendship

Mina and Leesha are two good friends from childhood onwards. They have an intimate friendship and share everything that happens between each other. But they study in different classes.

Most surprisingly, they both have totally different characters. Mina is a good-hearted and friendly girl. She is obliging and humble. But Leesha is just the opposite. She is callous and egocentric. She is stuck-up, and aloof. She is at times a bad-tempered and a hostile girl.

One day in the class, a class-mate of Leesha's came and gave Leesha an envelope saying that it was from Mina. Leesha thanked her for that. After that she opened the envelope and started reading what was on the paper.

It said: “I want to say something to you…I can’t wait any longer to tell you this. To tell you the truth, I don’t like you…I don’t think you are a true friend. So from now on I have no intimate friendship with you. I am not your best friend… we are just acquaintances now. Bye.”

Leesha was bewildered by that letter. She couldn’t get the reason why Mina didn’t like her, though she decided not to talk that friendly with Mina from now on…she didn’t think much of what Mina had written.

After the class, Mina stood in front of Leesha showing a smiling face as usual and asked Leesha to go with her. Leesha refused; she wondered why she should go again with Mina. Mina was begging with her to go with her and asked what happened to her suddenly as Mina sees her mood off.

Leesha was surprised she asked such a question...but anyway, Leesha explained about that letter...and told her that now she doesn’t have any intimate friendship with Mina. Mina got confused by her words and interjected that she didn’t send any letter to Leesha.

Nevertheless, Leesha didn’t believe what she said and went off from the class without being polite.

After that day they didn’t have any friendship between them.

Actually, the fact was, the letter wasn’t send by Mina. A jealous class mate of their friendship gave that letter to Leesha just to break up their friendship. And now it had just happened. The friendship was lost.
