ANGEL
A STORY OF AND FOR YOUNGSTERS……

Preparing to read…
This is a story of three youngsters… two guys and a girl… I am also playing a character in this story… but a male character… I am writing this story as a male author. this is a short story indeed…. But I hope this will refresh your minds… there is no practical moral in the story… but it is about the infatuation between two youngsters… I wouldn’t call it love because I don’t believe in love. however you can call this story as a love story… the end of this story has a twist in it. to know how angel travels her journey of life with lots of excitement, fun, sorrow and grief… to know about the twist read on….

She slowly opened the door with trembling hands and looked out in all the four directions……. She ran her eyeballs here and there to see who was at the door at such an odd time…… she was scared. Very scared… she did not find anyone so she came completely out of the house to see who had rung the door bell….

Suddenly she heard the door bang behind her and she opened her eyes all of a sudden….

Ah!!!!!!! It was just a dream……
A scary dream….

Angelina gave it a thought…. Every day she gets this weird dream and before knowing the unknown person (who rings the door bell in her dreams), she opens her eyes…. “Strange”, she thought “such a strange dream... Who could that stranger be??? Tonight I shall not open my eyes before knowing that anonymous fellow...!” suddenly she heard her mother shouting…. “Angel!!!!!!! Come down fast….. I've got to go out... So come and have your breakfast…. I won’t go before u have your breakfast because I know you won’t have it for yourself…” Angel again thought... 'I think I should tell lucky about this!!' "Coming mom!!” She shouted and ran down…

Angelina Joseph…. That was her name... Nicknamed angel… she was a small town girl, of course, but she lived in a very big mansion… indeed the second biggest mansion of the town, for the biggest was her best friend lucky’s…

Angel lived with her parents and grandparents… her house was indeed a big one…

Even to this date I remember going to her house for the first time… it was the spring season and Angel and I had decided to go out for a long drive… as I entered her house I could see the big name plate addressed “THE JOSEPH’S MANSION”.

As I stepped forward to enter her house, I don’t know why but every cell in me tingled… I paced forward with a bit of nervousness… I rung the door bell… her maid Beauty opened the door and soon I was guided into a fully furnished air conditioned room… I sat there on a very cozy bean bag…. in no time Angel came to meet me… she was extremely delighted to see me… She sat down… there was a silence for a while and I broke the silence asking if she lived alone at her home… She did not give me a proper reply… she said, “I stay with my parents and grandparents but I am alone and lonely all the time at home… so it’s up to you to decide if I stay alone or with a so called family…” something in her voice showed that she was disturbed mentally when she spoke of her family… however I diverted her attention by asking for a glass of water... she said, “Beauty, could you please get two glasses of water…?”

At that moment something strange happened.. even to this date I remember exactly what happened… before beauty got the water two glasses of water automatically appeared on the table…. It would seem more apt if I say two glasses of water magically appeared on the table…. Yes it was indeed a magic… both of us were taken aback and we stood up together… we were astonished. Suddenly everything went in a pause mode. The tray which was about to fall from beauty’s hands hung in the air, beauty herself became statue, the curtains which were flying because of air stopped, the clock’s second’s hand also stopped. NO!! IT WAS NOT THE CLOCK WHICH STOPPED BUT IT WAS THE TIME WHICH HAD STOPPED!!! YES THE TIME HAD STOPPED!!!
