The lost Heiress
Born 1997, M, from Gujrat, IndiaIt was magnificent day for the king (Marsileo) as his wife (Samantha) had had a child, a girl child. They were all extremely happy to have a daughter. Their first son, Juliat, was also extremely pleased to have a sister. He already had a name in his mind for the girl – ‘Julien’. The king and the queen could not refuse the suggestion; as they loved it too! Juliat had those fiery eyes that looked in the eyes of his sister in such a way as if he was telling her that he would protect her always and she could put all her trust in him. and the funny thing was that julien would seem to understand what he said and seemed to respond by giving a smile.
Juliat had a birth mark at the back of his neck. It was like a flame. Undoubtedly Julien had the mark too! There were parties thrown by the king where all were invited. But he was unaware about the fact that the party would not have a happy ending. The lights were put up, The hallway was shining with the lanterns hung up and the sky was already filled with firecrackers. The dinner hall was filled with the aroma of delicious food! King Marsileo and his family were sitting at the grand table receiving presents for their daughter. But for some urgent meeting they both left and ordered 6 men to stay behind and protect the children. Juliet seemed to be adoring his little sister while she was sleeping. He surely was thinking how could she sleep in such a hustle bustle! Suddenly his eyes were attracted to a cake. He ordered one of his guard men to get a piece for him. But suddenly he remembered the stories his mother told him about guards poisoning the food. As a precaution he decided he would take it himself. Suddenly the cake became more important than his sister. I guess that’s ‘Child’ tendency. He was about to take a piece when he heard people screaming all around. At one instant he knew his sister was in danger. He looked back and saw 3 of the men were laying unconscious while 2 were dead and the other one was being used as a human shield. He was so busy saving the guard he totally forgot about her sister. He looked across the hall to shour for help when he saw his sister being carried away by one of the thieves.
The next second the doors were opened and the marsileo ran in followed by the queen and then the guards. Marsileo found Juliat laying on the floor weeping. Juliat told the whole whole story to his parents and told that it was all his mistake that his little sister had been kidnapped. The news spread like a wildfire and the party ended. The thieves who had kidnapped Julien were some people who were suffering from debt and wished to use that little girl for some hefty ransom. They wrote a letter to the king stating – ‘We have your daughter, We need you to deliver 10,000 gold coins at 10th boulevard, St. street. Unless you want her dead.’ As soon as he read the letter his eyes got red, then after few seconds a teardrop ran across his left cheek which made him look helpless.
The thieves were living in a old abandoned house. They left the kid in that house as they did not want anyone to get suspicious of them staying there so long. That evening some kids, out of curiosity, tried to get in the house and somehow managed to get in. Suddenly they heard a baby crying. They all were taken aback but were determined to find the poor little baby. At last they found the Girl and one of them took the responsibility to take her home. His name was Edward. He took her home and unfortunately his father was displeased to see the baby. But her mother somehow managed to convince his father and they kept the baby.
One day, when the women was feeding the child, she noticed the birth mark at the back of her head and instantly realized that the baby girl belonged to the royal family and was the lost heiress. But it had been at least 3 weeks the baby was living with them and the lady (Mrs Goswing) fell in love with this baby and they had been salvaging for a daughter for a long time. She although did not like the name ‘Julien’ So she gave her a new name – ‘Alicia’.
Alicia grew up with the fisherman family. The father also started loving her. But her mother would never allow her to go out, warning her about the thugs, the thieves and the bloodthirsty bandits. But the real reason she did not allow Alicia to go out was that she was scared that her little girl would get recognized by someone (by the birth mark, as she had recognized Alicia) and would leave her alone forever.
Alicia grew up to be an extremely beautiful girl. None could say she was a daughter of a fisherman (although she had royal blood flowing in her). She was about to turn 18 in days. The hormonal changes were bustling inside her and she more and more wanted to go out of the 6 yard boundary she was confined to.
Even Juliat grew up to be a handsome guy. He had silky flowing dark brown hair and his eyes were deep blue in color although they still had that fiery look. Alicia had had a crush on him from past a year, not knowing that he was her brother. Even Juliat seemed to be interested in her. Finally he asked her out for a date, but she explained about the boundary. The boundary however did not stop them from meeting each other. Alicia always used to sneak out of the house when Mrs Goswing would be off to market, Mr. Goswing off to fishing and her little brother off for playing. They would roam around the gardens hand in hand. And in almost 2 weeks they fell in love with each other.
They decided to marry each other. Alicia’s parents had no problem. But all they were worried about was Juliat’s parents. Alicia had to go to the palace this afternoon to meet them. She dressed in a beautiful dress that just made her look even more beautiful. When she first entered the palace she felt a strange aura like thing about. Then she saw the king and queen waiting for her. She started moving towards them with her sweaty forehead and trembling hands. They welcomed her and after ‘bout an hour the king and queen seemed pleased.
As she was leaving she bowed down as to offer them respect. King Marsileo and the highness Samantha were taken aback. they stood there like statues as if thunder struck them. They saw the ‘flame’, the birth mark at the back of her neck. They were staring at Alicia which made her uneasy. Then they somehow snapped out of it and explained the whole scenario that took place when Alicia was a baby and the birth mark at the back of her neck that assured that she was Julien.
The doors creaked open and Juliat entered. he knew something went wrong. He could see it in the eyes of his parents. They all sat down and discussed for hours and were able to convince Julien. She took them to her Ex Parents and said that they were the ones who raised her and kept her safe. The family was awarded with 10,000 gold coins. But Mrs. Boswing was sad and was weeping. But after spending some time with Alicia she realized that Alicia would stay more happy with them.
Although the marriage was not possible; they both understood the circumstances and did not marry. Again, A huge party was thrown, but unlike the first one this one had happy ending.
