Valley of Monsters
Born 1949, M, from NLR /Arkansas, United StatesHe wears the facade of courage and a stoic face as he walks down the hallway heading to his morning history class, trying hard not to hear the loud and angry sounds forcing their way into his ears!
His heart is pounding!
But to them, he seems unusually calm and serene. He is wounded, but his body seems sound and his mind seems clear.
He stops at the water fountain to take a drink. He has a lump in his very dry throat and the taste of fear is in his mouth!
The hallway is rumbling with these mean and mocking sounds!
Those making these loud and angry sounds won't let him forget that he is different!
But it is not he himself that has made him different!
As he is walking down the hallway, the classroom he is trying to get to seems as distant as the milkyway!
He quickens his pace; wishes he could run!
He is being bombarded by serious threats, they're exploding like bombs all around him!
How can he escape these monsters!?
Demons attacking his self-esteem and well-being!
Now he finds himself in the classroom. Those loud and angry sounds have now turned into a whisper!
"I have escaped another heavy ground attack!
Will I be strong enough to escape another?!", he softly whispers to himself.
