Best Friends Forever

I was going to tell him. It would have been so easy to just slip those three words into the conversation. I love you. It is so easy to say; just not to Jesse. He took me out for pizza on Sunday. We do stuff like that all the time, go out for pizza, or to the movies, or just sit on his porch and talk until midnight. We are best friends, but I love him. I have always loved him, and I need to tell him that. We had fun, like always. When he was bringing me home we were talking and singing along to the radio, I was so happy. We got to my house. He hugged me. We said good bye. I almost said it. I really did. But it would not come out. So I just said thanks for the pizza, and walked in my house. Maybe someday I will tell him, maybe I never will. But at least I will always have an amazing best friend.
