Blaze Crystal(RLBrown) There is a tale as old as time itself where an ancient land was falling into a war.

The battle raged across many lands and only left destruction in its path. Countless were killed and blood was shed across the path.

One kingdom stood against this darkness, one kingdom stood tall and strong beside their fair princess, but at an end they were sadly defeated.

The darkness was edging closer to the castle. The knight of her realm fought as hard as he could, but died trying. The last of her knights told the princess to flee to the forest of spirits where only there she could be safe.

So for their love she did. She ran as fast as she could through the forest being battered by trees and bushes till finally she couldn't run any more.
To her amazement, in front of her was a lake, that shone with the purest of lights.

She looked into the water and saw that tears were flowing from her sky blue eyes. Kneeling before the lake the princess cried for the love of her people and the ones that had sacrificed their lives to protect her.

'why do you cry oh beautiful one?'
The princess lifted her head and was stunned to hear a voice. but where was it coming from, as no one was around her.

'why do you cry?' the voice asked once more.
The princess replied, 'A great battle has raged across my kingdom and all those I had loved have been killed, oh why must this happen?!'

As these words were spoken, a shining light floated from the lake, a spirit orb floated in her eyes. the princess was frightened to see this and startled backwards.

'Do not be afraid my princess, I am here to grant your hearts desires' the orb spoke.
'Hearts desires?'
'yes my princess, your hearts desire. I will save the kingdom and the people you love'
and with those words the orbs light split into shining beams. there before her was a huge fire bird.
'who are you?' the princess asked.
'I am Hayato, the bird of Life'
He soared to the skys and sent forth his blazing fire, destorying the darkness and relieving the ones who sacrficed their lives.

The princess was overjoyed with what he had done for her.
'oh thank you my Hayato, I thank you for your kindness'

from that day on the darkness never returned. the princess and the fire bird Hayato lived in Harmony as one.

For a love has been bonded.
