The Last Kiss

The night was so long and tiring. I lazily opened my eyelids and turned my sweat soaked face in to the bedside clock. It was blinking and alerting me in red, it was almost twelve thirty five...midnight..though I knew it was the following day morning. Thoughts disturbed my sleep...Afterall it was the heat in April. I got up from the bed and feebly walked to the washroom. I stared at my face from the misty mirror in self-disgust and pondered on Trevin. I could still remember his touch and warm lips. I felt his presence near me, even at the church. I opened my laptop and sat on the bed, though not comfortable. I backed the wall and started browsing Facebook...I remembered the first day I got to know Trevin over Facebook. We spoke to each other for nearly fourty minutes...I couldn't really forget the day we sat at the beach in one evening for the first time and he was talking of his grandfather and family affairs...Talkative but sweet. I was silent but here and there I was interrupting him at certain occasions...I felt his heart beat that day for the first time. He turned to my side and then said...Don't you want to make this date a memorable one...I was tensed but the feeling I felt was tranquil and sobre. He slowly kissed my lips and held me tight to his chest...This moment made my heart feel lovable for the first time. His lips made mine wet and I urged mine to his more. The moments flashed back and forth. I knew tears were falling. I switched off the laptop and turned to my pillow, which is my only solace.
