Marta Moran Bishop lives on a small farm in Massachusetts with her husband, their four cats, and their horses, Chrome, Connella and Dinky. She is an author and a poet. Ms. Bishop has six poetry books, two children’s Wee Three: A Child’s World and Innocence and Wonder. Four adult poetry books A Poet’s Journey: Emotions, Sunlight and Shadows, When I Was Not Myself, and A Walk Through Nature. Her first novel The Between Times, a social cautionary tale, is receiving rave reviews and she has been asked for a sequel, the prequel will be out in August of 2018, Darkness Descends.
Her second novel Dinky: The Nurse Mare’s Foal, is based on true events it is the story of her rescue horse and his fight for survival.
After being bred to be thrown away, he struggles to live. As Dinky grows, he learns how to be a horse and to survive in the world of humans. A humorous book told from the cats point of view called Keeping The Upper Paw. The Choosing, a novella, the tale of an ancient tribe and a time when the God's walked.
Ms. Bishop, also has a variety of short stories published.
