gravity is gone(Nicholas) One bright sunny morning, I awoke to find my bed floating in mid-air!

I woke up with a yawn and sat up on my bed. It was Saturday morning and the time was 4:30 a.m in the morning. I would usually wake up and play games on my computer but I just sat on my bed staring at my bookshelf. I saw it floating in mid air!

Suddenly, I felt my bed being lifted off the floor! I started to panic and I opened my mouth to shout something but no words came out. But then, I wondered what would have made my bed lift up? I peeked down to see if anyone was lifting my bed [which would have been impossible unless that person could lift a car]. No one was lifting it. Suddenly, I thought of something. “Oh no” I muttered.

Maybe the gravity is gone, I thought. I jumped off my bed and hit the floor with a thud. I ran out of my room and saw my dad and mom’s bed floating in mid air too! I went to my sister’s room and saw her dollhouse and bed were both floating in the air! I ran to my sister’s window and peeked outside and then saw everything in our neighborhood floating! Could it be that the whole neighborhood lost their gravity?

I went outside and ran to my neighbor’s door. I rang the doorbell and my neighbor came out of her house. “what is wrong?” she asked. “T-t-the g-gravity is gone!” I stammered. “really? But I don’t see anything floating.” she said in a calm tone. But then she saw something behind me and gasped.

I turned to see a vacuum like machine and it was sucking something out of the air. So that is what’s causing the gravity to go off, I thought. I went to it to see if there was an off button and there was no off button. Suddenly it started to suck me in!!!

I saw a self destruct on the side and I quickly pressed it. The machine started to beep and then parts of the machine started to fall off. The machine stopped sucking and I dropped to the ground with a thud. I got up and ran back into my house. I saw the machine explode with a Boom! The machine was gone right after the boom. The remains was just a pile of dust.

I went to my room and lay down on my bed and fell asleep...
